From Number Shack for Bell customers: Before the agent submits the port request, ensure that they are entering it as a WIRELINE PORT REQUEST. On occasion, the agent will enter it as a Bell transfer of responsibility or a Bell to Bell transfer, which they charge you a $50 fee. You are Porting into Bell, there is no charge and it must be requested properly to avoid delays and extra fees added to your account by Bell for the incorrect request.
